What is Nikaah?

Nikaah is the Islamic marriage contract is considered an integral part of an Islamic marriage, and outlines the rights and responsibilities of the groom and bride or other parties involved in marriage proceedings under Islamic matrimonial law.

It designates a feast in Arabic. valima is used as a symbol to show domestic happiness in the household post-marriage.

What is the Baraat?

Baraat is a groom's wedding procession in both India and Pakistan. In both Indian and Pakistani traditions, it is customary for the bridegroom to travel to the wedding venue on a horse, accompanied by his family members, called the baraatis. Though lately it been via high spec sports and luxury cars.
